Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 15 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 1 Year travel experience required 36 or 48 hour contracts acceptable Every other weekend required Holiday requirements - per unit need Description: This position is for a 24-bed medical/surgical telemetry unit. The unit cares for a population of acutely ill patients. Admissions come from the emergency department, progressive care unit, and intensive care unit. The unit specializes in the care of patients with sepsis, pneumonia, complex wounds, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and end-stage renal disease.
