Our more than 30 programs throughout the district provide comprehensive services that lead to mental and physical health, continued sobriety, job training, living‑wage employment, and affordable housing. Compensation: Salary range $75,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience. Competitive benefits package. Position Summary: The Program Manager oversees the clinical treatment of crisis stabilization clients from screening/admission through discharge, supervises Behavioral Health Technicians, ensures continuity of care with external treatment team members and referral sources. Location: Jordan House on North Capitol Street, NW, Washington, DC. Jordan House is a Crisis Stabilization Program. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with one remote day per week; on‑call after hours required. Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree; 3–5 years’ experience in mental health treatment services. Licensure: LICSW by the District of Columbia Department of Health; CPR/First‑Aid, Driver’s License. Expected Contributions – Program Management: Utilize trauma‑informed care approach in all client care. Provide comprehensive clinical oversight for client treatment, ensuring screening/admission, treatment planning, and discharge planning align with low‑barrier, high‑quality care. Provide clinical guidance and support for staff through supervision and training. Review, audit, and sign off on documentation for accuracy, compliance, and best practices. Participate in rotating on‑call schedule to support staff outside regular hours. Expected Contributions – Clinical Treatment Services: Provide clinical support to clients as needed. Perform clinical screenings and assessments at intake, discharge, and as indicated. Complete authorizations and requests for extensions of treatment in the Comagine system. Coordinate and participate in client treatment team meetings. Provide emergency crisis support to clients as required. Review and approve billable clinical notes, assessments. Coordinate SUD and RSS support with SUD team for clients with co‑occurring disorders. Ensure quality and accuracy of resident treatment documentation. Assist with critical incident debriefs and resident care transitions. Support discharge planning and post‑discharge coordination with Clinical Care Coordinators. Ensure appropriate staffing levels, evaluate, hire, and train new employees. Contribute to budget development and ensure compliance with financial reporting. Contribute to strategy development, improve departmental performance. Schedule staff work hours, monitor attendance, approve timecards and leave requests. Provide coaching and training for all staff. Ensure billable services processed in compliance with regulations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: In‑depth knowledge of mental health issues, trauma‑informed care, crisis intervention. Action‑oriented, analytical, organized, detail‑focused. Mission‑driven, excellent verbal and written communication. Proficient with MS Office. Reports To: Program Director, Jordan/Mary Claire House. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, look at computer screen for several hours, sit for long periods, travel to off‑site events and meetings. Position Designation: Safety Sensitive.
