Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Alabama Special Education Certification (AL SPED Cert), with priority given to those holding an active AL License
• Minimum of 1 year of proven teletherapy experience
• Comfortable delivering instruction in a virtual, inclusion-only setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills for collaborating with onsite teams and engaging diverse student populations
• Ability to adapt instruction to individualized student needs across various grade levels, supporting IEP goals remotely

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging, differentiated instruction to special education students in inclusion settings across different grade bands
• Participate in digital IEP meetings, contribute to progress monitoring, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school requirements
• Collaborate with school staff and fellow educators to ensure high-quality service delivery and support for all learners
• Utilize available technology platforms, resources, and tools to enhance student participation and growth
• Foster an inclusive virtual classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to provide updates and address concerns

This full-time VOCO position offers 37.5 hours per week, consistent scheduling within the 8/4/26 – 5/26 school year, and the chance to work fully remote while impacting students across multiple grade levels.
