Overview Medical City Arlington – Registered Nurse - NICU. Shift - PRN. The NICU Registered Nurse delivers professional nursing care to all patients in NICU. You will perform assessment and acuity assignment; follows standard of care utilizing Nursing Process in delivery of care; maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions. Daily assignment of an RN may include supervision of other nursing personnel and/or students. Function as a preceptor and ability to function as a charge nurse. The employee performs all services as they may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for age/condition of patient. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN) Registered Nurse Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree 1+ year in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Required 2+ Year’s in an Acute Care NICU preferred Benefits Comprehensive medical coverage that covers many common services at no cost or for a low copay.
