Position: Senior Specialty Representative What You Will Do As a Senior Specialty Representative, you will be the primary contact for medical professionals, providing clinical knowledge of Amgen’s products, navigating the payer environment, and executing marketing strategy under the guidance of the District Manager. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products and effectively communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to encourage appropriate utilization. Act as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following-up with educational programs, and exceeding sales targets through in‑person and virtual engagement. Develop, service, and manage accounts, customizing discussions and interactions based on customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts. Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager. Partner with colleagues to share best practices and seek continual learning and growth. Demonstrate passion for our products throughout the sales cycle while building our brand and keeping patient service at the forefront. What We Expect Of You We look for a motivated professional with the following qualifications. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field not related to sales. OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field not related to sales. OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field not related to sales. Preferred Qualifications More than 3 years of sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, medical device, or supply industries. Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases and related specialties. Advanced influencing and relationship‑building skills focused on sales outcomes. Local market knowledge. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration. Actual salary will vary based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
