This leader drives cross-functional strategy that supports five distribution centers across the United States.The Director of Supply Chain partners closely with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations to ensure that supply chain capabilities serve as a competitive differentiator in the dental distribution market.Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes?Strong analytical capabilities; ability to translate data into actionable strategyProven negotiator with experience managing vendor relationshipsExecutive-level communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external partnersProficiency in ERP systems, demand planning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred)Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time, including vendor site visits, sales co-travels and DC visitsAdaptable, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environmentDo These Responsibilities Interest YOU?As Bencos supply chain leader, youll own strategy and execution across procurement, inventory and demand planning, equipment coordination, international sourcing, and reverse logistics leading a multi-site team and partnering with senior leadership to make supply chain a competitive advantage.Define and execute a multi-year supply chain strategy, including SIOP, across all five distribution centersNegotiate pricing, terms, and warranties with key vendors; lead scorecard-driven business reviews and optimize rebates, credits, and returnsOptimize inventory positioning and control across consumables, equipment, and private label lines to reduce carrying costs and maintain in-stock targetsEnsure import/export compliance and develop international sourcing strategies for private label productsRecruit, develop, and retain high-performing supply chain talent while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvementOwn the supply chain operating budget; deliver measurable cost savings and report performance metrics to senior leadershipDo YOU Meet These Requirements?Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field required; Masters/MBA preferred10+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, or logistics experience, including 5+ years leading multiple functional teamsExperience in distribution, wholesale, or healthcare/dental supply industries strongly preferredDomestic and international supply chain experience preferredCPIM (APICS) certification preferred; CSCP a plusWho We Are: Its our Mission to Drive Dentistry ForwardBenco Dental, the largest privately owned, full-service dental distributor in the United States, has remained in the family since 1930a family that now includes our more than 40,000 customers and over 1,500 associates in the 48 contiguous states.We provide more supply and equipment options than any other full-service distributor, an offering enhanced by a comprehensive suite of services, including office design, equipment repair, practice coaching, financing and project management, wealth management and dental-specific technology solutions.
