Sr. Principal Process Engineer -Packaging

Role
Sr. Principal Process Engineer – Packaging within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on end-to-end process ownership of aseptic biotherapeutic packaging equipment.
Responsibilities
- lead development of packaging specifications
- provide technical leadership for packaging systems
- collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams
- oversee design, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities
- resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory standards, and serialization requirements
Qualifications
- minimum 10 years in packaging process engineering or capital project execution in large-molecule biotherapeutic environments
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- strong expertise in aseptic packaging, serialization, and regulatory compliance
- experience with large-scale capital projects ($50-100M) preferred

Location & Travel
On-site in Wilson, NC with extensive travel (>75%) until facility startup.
