Med-Surg Float Pool NurseThis is a 13-week contract position.AM Shift: 07:00 – 19:30, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week.Job DescriptionThe Med-Surg Float Pool Nurse provides comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows. Nurses are expected to function independently, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and uphold all hospital policies and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide patient care within various inpatient medical-surgical units.Float between multiple units as needed based on patient needs and unit requirements.Adhere to all policies regarding attendance, documentation standards, and medication safety protocols.Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 on standard Med-Surg units, with variations based on unit acuity.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience.Current BLS and NIHHS certifications are required; ACLS and TNCC are preferred.Strong proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
