Rowan College of Engineering Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in civil and environmental engineering, including Statics, Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Water Resources Engineering, Surveying, Surface Hydrology, Watershed Principles, Water and Wastewater Treatment and Design, and Senior Capstone Design. Develop and deliver course content, assignments, and assessments in a project-based learning environment. Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with faculty and students across multidisciplinary teams. Assist in curriculum development and evaluate course effectiveness. Qualifications Earned a Master of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; a Ph.D. is preferred. Professional licensure required for teaching upper-level design courses. Strong communication skills and experience teaching in a project-based setting. Ability to work with multidisciplinary student and faculty teams. Appointment is part-time, non-tenure track, with renewable contracts based on performance, departmental needs, and budget approvals. Salary and Benefits Salary: Adjuncts receive a minimum of $2,225 (after September1,2026) per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
