Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to oversee safety and environmental compliance for a custom cabinet manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing safety experience and strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and workplace safety standards.

R esponsibilities

• Manage and maintain company safety and EHS programs.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local regulations.

• Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and accident investigations.

• Maintain OSHA records and required safety documentation.

• Manage Hazard Communication, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, forklift safety, and emergency procedures.

• Conduct employee safety training.

• Identify and correct hazards involving woodworking machinery, wood dust, chemicals, adhesives, paints, and finishing operations.

• Work closely with management and employees to maintain a safe workplace.

• Stay current with changes to safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.

• Experience with OSHA recordkeeping, inspections, training, and incident investigations.

• Manufacturing, woodworking, cabinetry, furniture, or millwork experience preferred.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• OSHA or professional safety certifications are a plus.

This is an in-person position located in Bartow, Florida. Pay is commensurate with experience.
