Claims Specialist – Workers' Compensation & Commercial AutoOur client is seeking an experienced Claims Specialist to oversee New York Workers' Compensation claims from intake through resolution. This role will also support Commercial Auto claims and serve as a key liaison between clients, carriers, defense counsel, and internal teams to ensure claims are managed effectively and efficiently.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee New York Workers' Compensation claims throughout the claim lifecycle.Serve as the primary point of contact between insureds, carriers, brokers, and defense counsel.Review claims for compensability, reserves, settlement opportunities, and overall claim strategy.Monitor claim activity, hearing outcomes, Board decisions, and carrier performance.Ensure compliance with New York Workers' Compensation Board requirements and deadlines.Coordinate return-to-work and light-duty programs with clients, carriers, and medical providers.Conduct claim reviews with clients and assist with settlement evaluations.Support Commercial Auto claims as needed.Requirements:Active New York State Adjuster License.Minimum 2 years of New York Workers' Compensation adjusting experience.Strong knowledge of New York Workers' Compensation law, Board procedures, litigation, and settlements.Experience managing claims through resolution, including complex and litigated files.Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred:Experience handling Commercial Auto claims.Working knowledge of Commercial Property claims.Benefits:PTOHealth Insurance401KThis is an excellent opportunity for a Workers' Compensation adjuster looking to move into a client facing role with a growing commercial insurance brokerage.
