Heritage Pointe Of Fort Wayne Dining ServicesWe are seeking dependable, compassionate individuals to join our dining services team at the Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne. We currently have part-time, food service openings, working 20 – 24 hours per week, 3:30p - 7:30p and every other weekend/holiday. Our Dining Services Members are responsible for assisting in the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals in accordance with facility guidelines and residents' dietary needs.Responsibilities:Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to the menu and dietary requirementsEnsure proper portion control and food safety procedures are followedDeliver and retrieve food trays in a timely and courteous mannerMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and storage areasAssist with dishwashing and sanitizing kitchen equipmentFollow all food handling and sanitation procedures according to local health department guidelinesInteract with residents and staff in a professional and friendly mannerQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare is a plusAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamExcellent communication and customer service skillsMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periodsMust pass background check and health screening requirementsExpectations of All Employees:Support the organization's mission and vision.Uphold the values of Grace, Compassion, and Respect.Maintain confidentiality.Follow HIPAA guidelines.Participate in mandatory in-service training and required meetings.Adhere to safety measures such as infection control and handwashing, follow fire, tornado, emergency, and other safety policies and procedures.Maintain professional conduct and positive communication with team members, residents, families, and visitors.Flexibility for other tasks and duties as assigned.Note:The statements contained herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, or skills required of personnel.
