Responsibilities

• Audit the accuracy of demographic information in the Billing System to ensure clean billing and prompt payment.
• Direct nursing center Business Office Manager to make any applicable updates in PCC. Independently ensure errors are corrected before batching.
• Make independent decisions on the next steps needed to ensure claims are paid timely to ensure cash flow for each center.
• Identify any global payer issues and bring to Central Billing Office Management's attention.
• Manage all claim projects to completion that are submitted to contracted insurance carriers or the state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years' experience in accounting, billing, or collections in a healthcare environment.
