Job Full Description Machinist Broussard, LA| Full-Time| $15-$25/hr. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating manual and/or CNC machines to manufacture precision parts and components used in industrial and oilfield applications. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, dependable, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced shop environment. Duties:

- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC lathes, mills, and machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure proper tolerances and specifications
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Previous machining experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- CNC programming experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop environment
- Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- $15-$25/hr. DOE
