Job DescriptionJob Description About This Role Little Cub Academy is a family-owned child care center, now opened in the Mukwonago area.We are hiring teachers to join our team to help us create a warm and loving environment for the children we care for.Little Cub Academy strives to be a second home for our families. What You'll Do Caring for and planning activities and games for school age childrenGetting kids on and off the busBuilding relationship with parents and working together to best provide for our childrenCreating a safe and clean environment in the classroomOffering snack to children and cleaning up when finished Requirements Loving and caringStrong oral and written communication skillsWillingness to learnInfant/child CPR (or willing to complete)Must clear full background checkMust pass health screeningChildcare coursework- Abusive Head Trauma Prevention training and Mandated Reporter (free online classes)Professional experience in an early childhood program Nice To Haves Childcare classes - Introduction to Child Care Profession and Skills and Strategies in the classroom.240 hours of experience in a licensed child care facility/school setting Benefits We are excited to offer you:Health insurance in the works!Dental and vision insurance options A welcoming and supportive small team atmosphere5 days paid break after 1 year of employment Paid holidays (After 90 days of employment for full time staff) PTO 401K with 4% match after 1 year of employmentAnnual bonus of $250-500 Free & Discounted childcare based on available spaceEducator Assistance Program (more detail on our website)Telehealth and discount prescription plan (PDF with more information on our website)Nights and weekends offSome flexibility with schedules- we work hard to work with our team to find a schedule that works for you!
