Account Manager - Insurance Sales Professional

Full-Time | In-Office

Ginny Thompson State Farm is looking for a licensed, sales-driven Account Manager to join our in-office team. This opportunity is a strong fit for someone with prior insurance, industry-related, and/or proven sales experience who enjoys building relationships, identifying customer needs, and turning conversations into long-term client relationships.

In this role, your ability to prospect, follow up, conduct policy reviews, and close business will directly impact both your income and your long-term career growth within the agency. We are looking for someone who is competitive, goal-oriented, motivated by performance, and confident asking for the business.

What You'll Do

As an Account Manager, you will help drive agency growth by managing customer relationships, uncovering coverage gaps, and recommending insurance solutions that protect customers and their families. This position blends relationship management with a strong focus on sales production.

You will be responsible for:

Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships that support retention and long-term growth

Generating new business through proactive outreach, referrals, and lead follow-up

Conducting policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities

Recommending, explaining, and selling insurance products to both warm and cold prospects

Following up consistently with prospects and clients to convert opportunities into new policies

Resolving customer concerns while maintaining a positive and professional experience

Collaborating with team members to meet individual and agency sales goals

Licensing Requirements

Applicants must be licensed to be considered for this opportunity. Active Property & Casualty licensing is required prior to starting in the office.

Life & Health licensing is strongly preferred and must be obtained within 45 days of starting if not already active.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

Active Property & Casualty license required prior to starting

Life & Health license preferred; required within 45 days of start if not already active

Prior insurance, industry-related, and/or proven sales experience required

A sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals

Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills

Confidence leading sales conversations and asking for the business

Insurance or State Farm agency experience strongly preferred

Ability to work full-time in office

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
