Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. This position requires a focus on specialized patient populations, including trauma and surgical patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias and arterial line management. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in blood product administration and the management of patients with acute respiratory needs. Common diagnoses include severe sepsis, unstable gastrointestinal bleeding, and multisystem organ failure. The position involves caring for patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, including TAVR and CABG procedures. Nurse-patient ratios will vary based on patient acuity, typically ranging from 1:2 to 1:3. Weekend shifts are required every other week. The environment fosters interdisciplinary support including therapy and rapid response teams. Candidates must be adaptable to float between areas as operational needs require.
