What You'll Do

• Provide expert clinical care for cardiothoracic surgery patients with a focus on compassionate, patient-first treatment
• Assist in cardiac surgeries, including performing endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting as needed
• Manage ICU and surgical ward patient care, including rounding on CVICU, floor, and clinic patients
• Participate in two full-day clinics weekly and manage additional patient visits when required
• Rotate through operating room coverage from Monday to Friday
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare teams in a multidisciplinary environment
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Develop, implement, and follow up on care plans based on patient outcomes
• Prescribe medications and perform bedside procedures as appropriate
• Document all patient care accurately and timely
• Maintain ongoing medical education to meet licensure and certification requirements

What You Need

• Valid Colorado RN and NP licenses or certifications (as applicable)
• 2+ years of experience in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery (preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
