Devops Cloud Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Devops Cloud Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability tools while implementing monitoring solutions, enforcing security best practices, and managing cloud infrastructure .

Rate Range: $40/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Devops Cloud Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments (Dev, QA, Prod) using modern DevOps practices.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog, including dashboards, alerts, and log management.
• Ensure security and compliance by enforcing IAM policies, container security best practices, and secure secrets management.
• Manage and optimize cloud databases (RDS) and storage solutions for performance and scalability.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and support Agile delivery and cloud migration initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Cloud DevOps, AWS, and application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS), and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Proven experience in observability tools like Datadog, security best practices, and managing scalable cloud-based applications using .NET and scripting languages.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
