Required Response Time: Within 30 Minutes

Licensure Requirements

Active Washington Medical License - Required

Board Certification

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery - Required
Orthopedic Trauma experience preferred

Required Certifications

ACLS - Required
BLS - Required

Clinical ResponsibilitiesInpatient Coverage

Admissions required
Assigned rounding patients
Orthopedic trauma consultations
Surgical management of traumatic orthopedic injuries
Inpatient follow-up and postoperative care

Trauma Coverage

Level II Trauma Center coverage
Emergency orthopedic trauma evaluations
Fracture management
Operative trauma cases
Multidisciplinary trauma team collaboration

Ideal Candidate

BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon
Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon preferred
Comfortable with acute fracture care and trauma surgery
Experienced in hospital-based trauma coverage
Able to provide both clinical coverage and call responsibilities
