Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician Intern is a student enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy completing the requirements necessary for the PharmD degree. The Pharmacy Technician Intern participates in advanced technician training under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, to provide comprehensive pharmacy services to special populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and young adults. The Pharmacy Technician Intern assists in all pharmacy operations functions in compliance with department and hospital policies and procedures, to provide optimal pharmaceutical care. The Pharmacy Technician Intern under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and delivery of medications including non-sterile products and sterile products.

- 4 year/Bachelor's Degree - OR - Actively enrolled in obtaining degree
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
