Location/Schedule: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid or Fully Remote options available)

Base Salary: Up to $190k Bonus Potential: Up to an additional $45,000 annually

Practice: Insurance Defense with a strong emphasis on New York Labor Law §240/241, construction defect, transportation, premises liability, and complex casualty matters for major carriers and corporate clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Defend insureds and corporate clients in New York Labor Law, construction defect, general liability, premises, and transportation cases.
• Manage matters from investigation through discovery, depositions, expert retention, motion practice, mediation, and trial.
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and dispositive motions.
• Collaborate with partners on case strategy, risk assessment, and client counseling.
• Take increasing ownership of files with direct client contact.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active NY bar.
• 4–8+ years of insurance defense, NY Labor Law, construction, or complex civil litigation experience.
