RN - Obstetrics Night Shift Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Obstetrics to join our team for full-time night shifts. This role involves comprehensive clinical assessments, development, and implementation of individualized nursing care plans tailored to meet patient and family needs in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Education

Must hold a valid RN license with specialized training or experience in obstetrics nursing.

Experience

Proven clinical judgment and ability to conduct thorough patient assessments. Experience in evidence-based nursing practice and quality improvement initiatives is highly valued. Prior work in a collaborative healthcare setting is preferred.

Requirements
  • Perform accurate clinical assessments and modify care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Support and participate in quality and performance improvement projects.
  • Create a safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive environment for patients and families.
  • Advocate for patient rights and ethical care practices.
  • Facilitate patient and family education to promote informed healthcare decisions.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
  • Utilize systems thinking to optimize resource use and patient safety.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to the growth of peers through mentoring and education.
  • Document all nursing activities accurately and timely in compliance with policies.

This position is based in a regional healthcare facility serving the Southern United States, offering a dynamic and supportive work environment dedicated to patient-centered care.
