Manager, Statistics - Immunology (Hybrid)

AbbVie seeks a Manager of Statistics in Immunology to provide statistical leadership for clinical trials, patient safety, and medical affairs programs. The role involves designing studies, developing analysis plans, conducting statistical analyses, and communicating findings to cross-functional teams in a hybrid Irvine, CA position.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and report clinical trials and scientific research studies
- Develop statistical analysis plans and protocols for programming implementation
- Perform independent statistical analyses and collaborate with statistical programming teams
- Evaluate data collection methods, identify data issues, and ensure study integrity
- Develop presentation strategies and collaborate on scientific publications
Requirements
- MS with 6+ years or PhD with 2+ years in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field
- Proficiency in SAS, R, and/or Python for complex statistical analyses
- Experience supporting clinical development programs and trial design
- Ability to independently lead statistical activities and communicate to stakeholders
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Immunology clinical trial experience preferred
