We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as a full-time Obstetrician-Gynecologist Hospitalist. This role is essential to our multidisciplinary team, which is dedicated to delivering compassionate and personalized care to obstetric and gynecologic patients within a collaborative and collegial environment. Our department has been recognized for excellence in maternity care by US News and World Report for the years 2025 and 2026.

Our facility handles around 2,500 births each year, utilizing a collaborative care model alongside our Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) colleagues. The labor and delivery as well as postpartum units are conveniently located on the same floor, offering views of the Charles River. We have full-time anesthesiologists available for labor and delivery, as well as neonatologists to support our Level IIB NICU. Additionally, our department includes maternal-fetal medicine specialists and minimally invasive surgeons. The Hospitalist will collaborate closely with other generalist partners in the OBGYN department to ensure high-quality, team-based clinical care. This full-time position (1.0 FTE) will involve approximately 14 twelve-hour shifts each month, covering day, night, and weekend schedules. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, caring for obstetric and postpartum inpatients, and providing inpatient consultations.

Ideal candidates will have completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and hold board certification or eligibility. Strong clinical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively and consult with advanced practice providers. Candidates should also be prepared to educate learners during designated clinical time.

Salary Range:

$220,000 - $235,000

The stated salary range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this position at the time of posting and may be adjusted as needed. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geographic location, anticipated productivity, FTE status, and role expectations. In addition to base salary, this position may qualify for performance-based incentives, including bonuses for productivity and quality.
