It may include cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, sweep floors, empty/clean wastebaskets and wipe down work areas.This is considered an essential onsite role, which requires regular onsite attendance.Responsibilities:Clean, dust, vacuum, and wash walls, furniture, ceilings, bathrooms, meeting rooms, windows, doors, and associated equipment and fixturesSweep, mop, vacuum, and strip all floor surfacesCollect trash and cardboard throughout the facility and transport to proper locationReplenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, etc.Perform additional cleaning services as requiredDispose properly of all public sanitation items in compliance with DigiKey's infectious waste control trainingRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Public sanitation compliance and/or infectious waste control training, preferredMust be able to read, write and communicate in EnglishRegular and consistent attendance due to need to access physical equipmentAbility to work and communicate effectively in a team environment or individually with minimal supervisionAbility to understand and follow safety proceduresAbility to provide a positive, professional and enthusiastic outlook and perspectiveSelf-motivation to maintain a clean work environment throughout the facilityCapable of working with varying cleaning liquids, powders, sprays, soaps, etc.Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and successTools/ Systems/ Software:Automation softwareAsset Management softwareScrubber/Sweeper managementOutlookMicrosoft OfficePhysical Requirements:• Physical ability to perform a full range of cleaning and custodial duties, as well as operation of cleaning equipment as required • Capable of standing or walking the entire shift • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder heightCompensation:The starting base pay rate for this position is:$20.00This position may also be eligible for shift, skill, and/or team lead pay differentials that will be in addition to the starting pay rate.______________________________________________________________________Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
