Maintenance Supervisor

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join on of our clients team at (1) of their properties in Creve Coeur, MO (63303). The ideal candidate will have general maintenance knowledge, be self-motivated, be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience in residential maintenance and at least 2 years in a lead or management position. This role is looking for a strong leader who can help manage a team. This role is a direct hire position.

This role will be working with (1) community that is 186 market rate units.

Salary: $30/hour DOQ.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am –5pm.

• Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors, and other parts of the building.
• Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up, shoveling, and sweeping curb/dumpster area, maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Install, repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair/replace leaking faucets, remove/replace caulking, replace different components of toilets, adjust/replace door closures, and replace locks, deadbolts, and passage locks.
• Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service.
• Maintain Property Grounds and common areas to meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized shop and other work areas.
• Preventative Maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 4 years’ experience in residential maintenance and at least 2 years in a lead or management position.
• CPO certification is preferred, experience is required.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Experience in unit turns, preventative maintenance and work orders.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation as this role will eventually have on-call.
• Be able to pass a background check and drug test before employment.
