This position is expected to start August or September 2026 and continue throughfall term (endingapproximately December 2026) or continuing into Winter/Spring 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships.Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

We are seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support our Service Programs Team in optimizing mobile service technician operations for Robotaxi servicing needs. The intern will play a key role in a project to enhance Mobile Technician route efficiency by identifying opportunities to integrate new repair segments (e.g., robotaxi repairs, B2B customers, Tesla internal fleet maintenance) into Mobile technicians' schedules. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies. The ideal candidate bridges software development thinking and business acumen to drive scalable solutions.

What You'll Do

• Analyze historical route data to identify patterns and opportunities for optimizing technician schedules
• Collaborate with service teams to understand operational constraints and requirements
• Develop SQL/Excel-based models to quantify the impact of adding non-customer repairs to routes
• Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with software teams to evaluate or design tools that support route optimization workflows

What You'll Bring

• Pursuing a Master's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or related field

• Preferred:Prior experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools

• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to operational goals,paired with a foundational understanding of software development structures

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Expected Compensation $20.43 - $28.61/hour + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
