Front Desk Patient Ambassador

JOIN OUR TEAM Front Desk Patient Ambassador – Part‑Time Outpatient Position 2-3 days per week in Franklin, MA. Must be available on Fridays. Job Overview & Work Site Essential Job Functions: The Patient Ambassador will primarily perform customer service duties by greeting and checking in/outpatients, collecting co‑pays, verifying insurance coverage, scheduling and confirming patient appointments. They will process new therapy referrals, coordinate the start of care with therapy staff and contracted agency, and ensure timely starts of care for new patients. The patient ambassador will also help maintain staff productivity by distributing visits according to established staffing ratios and serve as a liaison with other non‑therapy agency staff members and administrators. Skills Proficient with Microsoft Suite Products Highly organized and schedule driven Flexible with daily tasks Ability to deal with stress, work under deadlines and maintain critical thinking skills Strong interpersonal skills (to deal with co‑workers, clients and patients), initiative, and good judgment Detail oriented Customer service skills (phone and in person) Proficient typing skills Requirements Strong communication skills Outgoing personality and desire to improve patients' and clients' quality of life Ability to handle multiple tasks Interest in the field of physical therapy; background in Exercise Science preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
