Research Nurse

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Research Nurse to enroll and follow clinical trial subjects at Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), a leading oncology research organization. Responsibilities Screen, enroll, and follow study subjects ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring. Collect and document all data, source documentation, and adverse events. Conduct patient recruitment, screening, enrollment, treatment, and follow-up per protocol. Review study design and inclusion/exclusion criteria with physicians and patients. Verify informed consent procedures and ensure HIPAA authorization procedures. Complete and submit on‑study forms within two weeks of enrollment. Ensure medication approvals prior to treatment initiation and manage changes in medication regimens. Calculate and document BSA, creatinine clearance, protein:creatinine ratio, and other protocol‑required calculations. Schedule follow‑up appointments, scans, and procedures according to protocol. Document removal from protocol and re‑consent at subsequent visits. Qualifications Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) license. Knowledge of medical and research terminology. Knowledge of FDA Code of Federal Regulations and Good Clinical Practice. At least one year of oncology research experience, preferably in hematology and/or transplant. Experience in a research setting preferred. Research Certification (ACRP or CCRP) preferred.
