Fund Manager

The Fund Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day oversight of fund activities, ensuring accurate reporting, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth operations. This individual should bring strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead and develop others.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily fund operations, reporting, and related workflows.
  • Manage and support a small team.
  • Review financial statements, capital activity, and other fund deliverables.
  • Coordinate with auditors, administrators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Help identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all fund-related work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in public accounting or fund accounting/fund operations.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in private equity, investment funds, or related asset management environments.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising team members.
  • Exposure to fund reporting, audit support, or investor reporting.
