Key Responsibilities Design electrical circuits around embedded systems to interface with sensors and actuators Integrate peripheral components using I2C, SPI, RS-232/422, CAN, and other protocols Develop embedded systems with network applications using TCP/IP stack Create QA/QC test procedures and collaborate with the test team to automate testing Maintain bash scripts for system automation and management Validate systems using DMMs, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers Conduct trade studies to inform avionics component selection Generate test and flight reports to characterize system performance Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive project success Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in embedded systems engineering (5+ years preferred) Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, CAN bus, TCP/IP, SPI, and serial interfaces Proficiency in embedded Linux, C/C++, Python, Altium, and MS Office tools Strong ability to integrate hardware and software into cohesive systems Detail‑oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience Experience in stratospheric or extreme environment systems Background in avionics, flight systems, or aerospace‑grade embedded platforms Familiarity with systems engineering and flight sciences data collection Why Join This Team?
