Family Nurse Practitioner

MLR is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our client's healthcare team in Texas. This vital role involves providing high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, promoting wellness, and managing acute and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring a patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Manage and treat acute and chronic illnesses, prescribing medications, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinical guidelines.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of healthcare protocols and best practices.
Stay current with the latest medical advancements, treatments, and technologies in family medicine.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Program. Bachelor's Degree in the heath care field is highly desirable
AAPA certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Texas License by the Board of Nursing as Nurse Practitioner
