Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments to inform treatment planning and crisis intervention strategies.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and positive behavior support plans.

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and agency standards.
  • \n
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • \n
  • Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring all clinical practices meet recognized standards of care.

  • Liaise with local service systems, state agencies, and community partners to coordinate care and enhance service delivery.
  • \n
  • Foster open communication channels to enhance teamwork and meet contractual obligations while championing the mission of our organization.

  • Identify and establish relationships with potential community partners and funding sources to support mental health initiatives.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development through attending workshops, conferences, and statewide meetings relevant to mental health.

  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Clinic Director to align with organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse array of clients including individuals experiencing emotional distress, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your role will involve immediate and long-term support strategies aimed at enhancing their overall well-being and facilitating pathways to a fulfilling life.

  • A Master’s Degree in the mental health field is required for this position.

  • Applicants must possess an Independent LMHC License, with the willingness to meet licensing requirements specific to Kansas if licensed in another state.

Familiarity with state and federal mental health regulations, along with skills in collaborative care approaches, will be advantageous. Experience working within community mental health settings or similar environments will be highly valued.
