Registered Nurse Icu NightsCoordinates the delivery of nursing care for critically ill, post-operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest, post heart cath, hemodynamic stabilization and other critically ill patients in the units. Procedures include bronchoscopy, cardioversion, intubation, arterial line insertion, continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube placement, central line placement, thoracentesis, and wound care. We will care for septic shock, cardiogenic shock, post-cath, post-IR, DKA, stroke, alcohol withdrawal, general surgery, and urology. We do not have cardiothoracic surgery or neurosurgery. We have an 8 bed unit and patient to nurse ratio is: RN's 2:1 for ICU pts and 3:1 for IMC pts and we have patient care technicians. We are a small community hospital, but we can provide a lot of care and medical intervention. With a combination of diverse specialists paired with our intensivist and hospitalist teams, we have a variety of experience and capabilities that usually are not afforded to small communities. Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing. RN license. Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
