Job Opportunity Position Details We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for an acute care setting. The position involves evaluating and treating patients with diverse diagnoses, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, hip fractures, cognitive deficits, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Key Information
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role
- First-Timers Accepted: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: No weekends
- State License: California (valid compact license required)
- Local Radius: 50 miles
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility reserves the right to call off one time per bi-weekly pay period

- Scrub Color: Navy blue for RNs, provided for L&D/OR staff

- Conducting evaluations and assessments of patients to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Implementing treatment interventions focusing on enhancing patient functional outcomes
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress
- Documenting patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility protocols
- Proven experience in acute care settings
- Ability to assess and address deficits in ADLs
- Strong knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques for patient rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
