Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform CT scanning procedures; set up, monitor, and operate CT equipment per patient and Radiologist protocol; transfer and position patients using safe handling techniques and immobilization as needed.
- Verify patient identification and obtain relevant medical history, including known allergies; monitor for contrast-related reactions.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast when indicated; follow protocol for contrast administration and respond to adverse reactions; provide CPR if necessary.
- Acquire, review, and document CT images; ensure image quality and complete studies for the patient file; manage electronic/digital image capture, storage, transfer, and copy.
- Assist Radiologists and other specialists with specialized radiologic procedures; maintain department standards, calibration/quality control, and regulatory compliance; participate in quality improvement activities as assigned.
- Maintain department organization: coordinate daily scheduling with staff, keep the work area clean, monitor inventory, and support ongoing training of new personnel as needed.

Requirements
- ARRT CT certification (CT) and BLS required; active credentialing as applicable for the role
- Minimum 2 years CT experience
- Experience with Philips CT systems required
- Travel assignment experience preferred
- Ability to work nights in a hospital setting; strong patient safety and infection control practices
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Radiologists and staff to support accurate, timely imaging and patient care
