Senior Java Developer

Joining a high-performing engineering team, the contract Senior Java Developer will focus on building scalable microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), designing RESTful APIs, and implementing cloud-native applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or onsite capacity. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud Architect and implement cloud-native applications leveraging GCP services such as GKE and Pub/Sub Develop, optimize, and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Terraform Required qualifications 7+ years of software development experience building enterprise applications and APIs 5+ years of Java development experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures Strong background in building event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka or Confluent Cloud
