Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist!

Job Description:


- Shift Details:
- Day 3x12-Hour shifts (06:00 AM - 06:00 PM)
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- No on-call requirement
- Interview required prior to offer

- License & Certification Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRTs will not be accepted
- Valid Tennessee Respiratory Therapist license required at the time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required

- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
- Travel experience preferred
- Epic experience within the last 18 months is required and must be detailed

- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care in a busy Respiratory Therapy department
- Care for patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics
- Perform intubations and arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective patient care

- Skills Required:
- Adult Critical Care
- Basic EKG
- BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
- Inhaled steroids administration
- Troubleshooting respiratory equipment
- Neonatal and pediatric care

- Patient Age Groups:
- Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics

- Orientation Hours:
- 36 hours in total
