Job Summary The Elite Job is seeking a Part-Time Remote Patient Access Representative (Pharmacy) to join our growing healthcare support team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless access to pharmacy services and prescription support. You will assist patients in verifying insurance coverage, processing medication authorizations, handling inquiries, and maintaining accurate records—all while delivering exceptional customer service from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison between patients, physicians, and pharmacy teams to facilitate smooth prescription access. Verify patient insurance details, prescription eligibility, and prior authorization requirements. Assist patients with medication refills, billing inquiries, and coverage verification. Process electronic or telephonic requests for medication approvals and coordinate with insurance providers when needed. Document all patient interactions accurately in the system while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Resolve patient concerns professionally and escalade complex issues to the appropriate team. Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry and patient communications. Provide compassionate and patient-centered support, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in healthcare or pharmacy-related field preferred. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a customer-first approach. Basic understanding of pharmacy operations, medication authorization, and insurance processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office, data entry systems, and online communication tools. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive patient data with discretion and professionalism. Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for remote work setup. Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or patient access role preferred. Experience working with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or patient support programs is highly desirable. Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Working Hours Part-time (20–25 hours per week) with flexible scheduling options. Shifts available between Monday to Saturday , based on patient and business needs. Remote work from home with required availability for virtual meetings and training sessions.
