The CNA works under the supervision of a nurse and supports patients with activities of daily living while promoting patient comfort, dignity, and safety. The CNA plays an important role in supporting hospice patients and families by assisting with daily care needs and reporting changes in patient condition to the clinical team.This role requires strong patient care skills, compassion, reliability, and the ability to work as part of the hospice care team.QualificationsCurrent state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) requiredHospice, home health, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferredStrong communication and patient care skillsAbility to follow patient care plans and instructions from nursing staffAbility to work independently in a home or facility settingReliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insuranceAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
