Behavior Technician (BT) - Part Time

Location : Bronx, NY 10462

Setting : Client’s home

We are looking for a caring and dependable Behavior Technician (BT) to work one-on-one with children in their home. In this role, you will help teach everyday skills and support positive behavior using simple, step-by-step plans.

You will not be working alone. Your sessions will be guided by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) , a licensed professional who designs the child’s program and supports you along the way.

What You Will Do

• Work directly with a child in their home
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive strategies
• Follow a clear plan created by a supervising BCBA
• Take notes on progress during sessions
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and caregivers

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children is preferred, but not required
• Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and take feedback
• Ability to maintain professionalism and follow instructions
• Must pass required background checks

Schedule

• Part-time,
• Regular, scheduled hours discussed during the interview
