AssemblerLocation: McKinney TexasDuration: 12 months (possibility of extension)Pay Range: $22.09 / hr. on W2Schedule: 2nd shift - Hours: 2pm - 11:30pmSchedule: 1 week: Monday - Friday l 2nd week Monday - Thursday (Friday Off)Position OverviewThe Assembler will perform a wide variety of tasks supporting a manufacturing and production environment. Responsibilities include assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, repair, and inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.This role may include setting up and operating machines and hand tools, routing and expediting material flow, and verifying work accuracy. All work must be performed according to written instructions and quality standards.Key Duties Include:Material preparation and assembly/rework of electronic and mechanical componentsWire and cable preparation, installation, crimping, and torquing using hand toolsPerforming in-process inspections to ensure quality and complianceWorking with subassemblies and complex product buildsMaintaining productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environmentRequired Qualifications2+ years of applicable work experienceExperience with VM, CMES, SAP, or similar manufacturing systems/databasesStrong hand/finger dexterity and high attention to detailAbility to follow detailed work instructions and quality standardsBasic computer and math skillsExperience using hand tools (screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, torque tools, analyzers, etc.)Ability to work across shifts and adjust to production needsStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExperience in Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation, or Naval environments preferredAbility to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracyStrong time management and continuous improvement mindsetPositive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
