Ultrasound Technologist

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• Pediatric experience
• Experience with neonates/newborns, pediatric patients, and adults with congenital heart disease

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1500
• Weekend rotation: every 3rd weekend
• Call: 1-2 nights per week
• Weekend call: Friday morning to Monday morning
• Holiday expectations: call only
• Float between inpatient and outpatient care areas

Location Highlights

Bangor, Maine offers access to Acadia National Park in about 1 hour and sits along the Penobscot River with a walkable downtown area. The Bangor City Forest features more than 9 miles of trails, and the Bangor Waterfront hosts concerts and events near the Cross Insurance Center. Downtown Bangor includes the Maine Discovery Museum and the historic Bangor Opera House area, and Interstate 95 provides a direct regional travel route. For outdoor recreation, Moosehead Lake is roughly 1.5 hours away, and Baxter State Park, home to Mount Katahdin, can be reached in about 2 hours.
