Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Rockville, MD and surrounding areas. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 4am-9pm; Saturdays as needed (hours vary) must be flexible Job Responsibilities Supervise a team of phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician’s offices Manage patient flow, wait times and inventory levels and information logs Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary Coordinate phlebotomists’ schedules through resourceful and creative thinking Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent 3 years of experience as a phlebotomist Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency Preferred Qualifications 5 years of phlebotomy experience 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience Additional Job Standards Provide resolution of any patient or client issues Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed Travel to additional sites as necessary Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record with reliable transportation Be at least 21 years’ of age Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead others Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize duties Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical Dental Vision Life

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. Salary range $55,000 - $82,000 All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. May be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, quarterly bonus based on performance metrics This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
