Laboratory Generalist (MT/MLS)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Generalist to join our team on a night shift schedule. This role is essential in providing comprehensive laboratory services to ensure accurate and timely results for patient care.

The position requires availability for night shifts from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, five days a week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing various laboratory tests and analyses in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensuring quality control measures are adhered to, maintaining compliance with established protocols.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide necessary support.
• Maintaining laboratory equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Documenting test results accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical records system.
• Participating in laboratory accreditation processes and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current MT/MLS credential.
• 1-2 years of experience as a laboratory generalist preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
