A leading home health organization in Salem, Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its growing rehabilitation team!

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00/hour

Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity:

Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule

Guaranteed weekly pay

$5,000 sign-on bonus available

Mileage reimbursement provided

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy according to the direction of the Physical Therapist and physician's plan of care

Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance

Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, muscle re-education, and prosthetic training

Utilize therapeutic modalities including heat, cold, water, electricity, ultrasound, and massage

Observe and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist

Educate patients on the proper use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and orthotic or prosthetic devices

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate's Degree required

Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license required

Current BLS/CPR certification required

Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required
