Warehouse and Customer Support Representative

Act as the primary point of contact for Builders, Designers, General Contractors, and walk-in customers Deliver customer service in person and over the phone Greet customers, resolve inquiries and complaints, and build client relationships Enter and verify orders and account information in the JDE system Maintain accurate records Collaborate with Branch Operations and Sales teams to support customer experience and branch goals Support showroom customers with the ISR and/or Operations Manager Perform warehouse operations including inspecting, handling, consolidating, labeling, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping inventory Maintain and reconcile warehouse inventory, address discrepancies, and generate inventory reports Handle will-call customers Maintain the showroom, update samples and labels, and conduct monthly showroom audits Receive, record, issue, and transport goods Prepare basic sample boards Perform other customer service and warehouse operations tasks as assigned Requirements 1–3 years of experience in building, construction, design, or warehouse environments preferred Results-driven, customer-focused, highly organized, and detail-oriented Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment Leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, and listening skills Relationship-building skills and composure under pressure Knowledge of database and query functions Functional computer skills Ability to read and respond to non-verbal communication Excellent basic math skills, including piece-to-square-foot calculations and product counting/tracking Ability to create basic sample boards Ability to handle inventory safely and efficiently Forklift certification and wet saw experience are a plus Bilingual Spanish and English preferred, or another language appropriate for the area Must pass a background check Ability to stand, use hands, and reach for prolonged periods Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, climb, and balance Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly Required close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus Ability to talk on the phone and use computers for extended periods Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently will be required Regular, predictable attendance is essential Maintain a clean, professional appearance and follow the company dress code Core Competencies Demonstrates strong customer service skills by effectively engaging with Builders, Designers, and General Contractors while managing warehouse operations and inventory.
