As a Home Loan Consultant, you are the main point of contact for our clients throughout the entire property purchase and mortgage process in Germany. You act as a trusted advisor, guide and sparring partner in one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.

Your Role

As a B2C Home Loan Consultant / Mortgage Advisor, you accompany clients end-to-end through the real estate financing journey:

• Conduct initial consultations and ongoing client advisory sessions regarding mortgage and real estate financing solutions
• Support clients partially already during the property search phase
• Collect, structure and review all documents required for mortgage applications
• Coordinate closely with all involved stakeholders, including real estate agents, banks, notaries and sellers
• Identify and negotiate the best mortgage offers with partner banks
• Submit and manage financing applications until final approval
• Explain and “translate” mortgage agreements and key contractual terms for international clients
• Support clients in understanding the purchase contract and next procedural steps
• Build long-term trust-based relationships and act as a reliable sparring partner throughout the buying process
• Promote additional Finance for Expats services and initiate cross-selling by handing over clients to internal specialist departments

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as a Bank Clerk (Bankkaufmann / Bankkauffrau) or a comparable or higher qualification
• or Certification as a Mortgage Intermediary (e.g. IHK / IAK – Immobiliardarlehensvermittler)
• At least 2 years of professional experience in mortgage advisory, real estate financing or banking
• Native-level German and fluent English (spoken and written)
• Any additional foreign language is a strong advantage
• Strong interest in client advisory, sales and performance-based compensation models
• High level of empathy, reliability and responsibility
• Open-minded, culturally sensitive and comfortable working with international clients
• Willingness to continuously learn and further develop professionally
• Structured, independent working style combined with strong teamwork skills
• Performance-based compensation model with a fixed base salary plus unlimited commission
