Job Description

In addition, a desire to learn unfamiliar laboratory techniques rapidly, and maintaining good record keeping in laboratory notebooks is critical for the job. The candidate is expected in work in team oriented environment.

Qualifications

Seeking candidates with experience in primary cell culture from brain tissue under sterilized conditions; familiarity with different cell types of the CNS (neurons, microglia, and astrocyte) is important. Prior experience with qPCR, immunocytochemistry, confocal microscopy, and ELISAs is a plus, although not required.
